UMKC_logo_pngWell, it was a good one. I played both games, against UMKC on Friday and Air Force Academy on Sunday. I had my first shutout of the season. We won 2:0 against UMKC. The only reason why it wasn’t perfect is because we, despite numerous clear goal-scoring opportunities, couldn’t overcome the Air Force Falcons on Sunday – the game ended in a double-overtime 1:1 tie. air-force-falcons-soccerIt’s a result that didn’t really help any of us. Yes, we stayed three points ahead of the Falcons. But with a win on Sunday, we would have almost certainly been in the conference tournament, which takes place in Kansas City from November 12 and 15.

The upcoming weekend will be the last one on the road for us, with a Friday night game against the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and a Sunday afternoon match-up with the Houston Baptist Huskies.
